Agario is coming!

Agario is a relatively new browser-based game that is taking the internet by storm. The concept is rather simple; navigate a dot through a universe of small circles and other player's dots. Your dot grows larger as you engulf other players and non-controlled dots. The catch is that your dot must be larger than another person's to overtake them. If you happen to run into another player with a larger dot, the game will instantly end.

As you play Agario, you'll find that you can consume three different types of cells, along with the cells controlled by other players. When you push the space bar or come into contact with a virus, your own cell will divide into smaller dots. You can even shoot other players with parts of your cell to take them down!

Agario comes with a few interesting features along with unique gameplay. If you happen to select a special keyword as your username (such as Wojak, Doge, or 4chan), a custom skin will be applied to your dot. If you'd like to play without seeing skins, you can easily open the settings menu and turn off skin appearances.

Likewise, Agario features two different game modes for players that like to change things up from time to time. At the moment, players can either play in the default free-for-all mode, or they can engage in team-based combat with team mode. Keep in mind that skins cannot be used in team mode. You can even sit back and watch other players duke it out in spectator mode if you're not in the mood to play just yet.

If you manage to keep your cell alive for long enough, you'll eventually make it onto the leader boards. However, staying alive in such a cutthroat game is no easy task. You must know when and where to split your cell, when to attack other players, and how to control corners of the game board so that you can quickly consume new players.

The game is rather fun and addictive, but because it has received so much attention in a short amount of time, it often falls victim to lag. Agario is completely free to play, and it is even planned to make its arrival on Steam at some point in the future. Agario is the perfect way to kick back and just have a little bit of fun right within your internet browser.
